About us

Emma Starkey

Emma took the decision to leave her office job of 17 years to become a Personal Trainer in 2019. She was extremely passionate about nutrition and fitness and wanted to be able to help and guide people to a happy, healthy lifestyle. She knows exactly what it takes to do this while juggling an office job and children and is enthusiastic to help you do the same.

Emma develops programmes to help you get more out of your session than you thought was possible. She ensures that the workouts are varied and structured to your needs.

Emma is an avid runner. She has competed in everything from a 5k to a marathon and can often be seen pounding the streets of Edinburgh in all weathers. And when she’s not doing some form of workout, you’ll find her in the great outdoors with Graeme and their two daughters.

Graeme Starkey

A personal trainer with more than 18 years’ experience in the fitness industry. As a previously competitive triathlete he loves helping people get race fit. Specialising in sports specific training, injury prevention and rehabilitation. He has a background in weight loss and body shape change which allows him to achieve great results not only on his weight loss courses, but also on a 1:1 basis.

He is currently a master trainer for the UK’s leading leisure club, delivering a boutique fitness programme which focuses on running, mixed martial arts and strength training, and fronting outdoor sessions designed to get clients ready for that next obstacle course race. In 2019 one of his classes was named in a top 20 compiled by the UK-wide Men’s Health magazine.

Graeme knows how to help people hit the heights, literally! He trained world record holder Mollie Hughes before her second Everest expedition, when she became the youngest female to summit the mountain from the North and South side. When he’s not training or teaching, Graeme loves drinking coffee, athletics with his family and staying active wearing his favourite Vivo Barefoot shoes.
